Cincinnati Fantasy Boudoir: Spooky Sirens in a Fake Underwater Set

Sure, I'm posting this spooky siren photoshoot a few days after Halloween, but they're too good not to share.

What’s extra cool about this session is that we did it entirely in my studio, without a drop of water. Fans, lighting gels, and lots of head shaking, sure—but we stayed warm, toasty, and completely dry for these photos.

Set building is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer, and sometimes I wonder if I would have made a good theatre tech in another life. (Probably not, because I do enjoy a decent amount of retouching in post. )

I’ll have more from this set to share, too, as it was a subscription exclusive, and I’m currently retouching this tier’s photos. It was super interesting to see the different directions each client took. I’ve got everything from spooky to ethereal to full-blown mermaid.
