I’ve been getting a few emails recntly about people asking if our studio does bridal boudoir— This is so interesting to me because back when I opened Roar brides were basically our only clients! There’s been a huge cultural shift to where you don’t need to be giving boudoir photos as a gift anymore to have an excuse to do them, but we totally still shoot brides! One of the caveats with shooting for brides though is that we don’t have a ton of images to share, most choose to keep their photos private and for their partners. Keeping images private isn’t ever an issue for us! I thought I’d grab a few photos of some recent bridal to shots.

A bridal boudoir session is usually just like one of our regular sessions, though maybe we add a viel for an outfit change, or you include your ring or bridal shoes. We have had a few clients bring in their gown for a “getting ready” kind of boudoir shot. I’m flexible and can make whatever your bridal boudoir dreams might be come true!

As a glasses wearer myself I’m always excited when ladies rock the “badass babe in glasses” look. This beauty blew me out of the water with her confidence and sex appeal!

My my my am I behind on blogging! Before our global pandemic we has this stunning babe in the studio for a stunning valentine’s day mini shoot! We’ve been back in the studio since June 1 with enhanced sanitation procedures and protective gear. We’re ready to serve you again to make sure even if we have to stay home you’ll have plenty of AMAZING photos.

This beautiful babe came for some classic glam in our private studio. Her day job is totally bad ass. She’s a mechanic for planes and seems to be damn good at it! I always wanted to be a pilot, but fun fact I have a eye that doesn’t work so well so I wouldn’t pass the vision test. Good thing you only need one eye for the viewfinder of a camera right?

But less about me, more about this boss babe! I hope you’re back soon, you were amazing to shoot!

Miss F came in to create an absolutely gorgeous gift for her husband. I love how she rocked jewel tones, they are universally flattering to all our clients! Once you book your session we send you our do’s and don’ts for lingerie shopping. You’ll know exactly what works best for your photoshoot! Miss F. was such a pleasure to have in the studio - I know Mr. F loved his gift. Better yet I know that Miss F loved the images as well. Miss E. wanted the perfect Christmas present for her husband, and did she ever deliver. We had so many clients come in this holiday season to create stunning gifts for themselves and their partners this year. It’s one of my favorite “busy seasons” for the studio. I know that Miss. E’s partner loved the photos, and the topping on the cake is their now expecting their first child! Talk about the real perfect present. Thank you so much for letting me share your beautiful images!

We’re also gearing up for our first busy season of the new year here at the studio, I love seeing all the lovebirds flocking into the studio this time year. If you’re looking to get photos before valentines day contact me ASAP! Our books are nearly full for delivery by valentine’s day!

I don’t get to do as many maternity sessions as I would like to do. A boudoir session with our milk bath set is an amazing way to capture your beautiful changing body. At the studio we totally understand that sometimes it can be hard to feel sexy during pregnancy and we want to help show you that you already are. Not only will you get sexy yet classy images that you won’t be shy to share, you’ll get a confidence boost and a little pampering before you’re bundle of joy arrives. Miss R. road-tripped it to us from a few hours away, and I’m so glad sh did! Miss R. is using these images during her baby shower, which I love! I hope all goes well during your delivery- hoping to get to meet your beautiful baby girl someday!

A lot of my clients at Roar Boudoir turn into friends. Sometimes I meet a client whose just a little left of center, like me. When you get an email asking if they can bring, and be photographed with a bucket of fried chicken you book that shoot ASAP. Miss C. was seriously so amazing to have in the studio. I hope she comes back with another, out there, yet awesome request. She was gracious enough to let me share her images, I think they turned out beautifully!

Miss S. came to us wanting a gift to her partner, that would also double as a gift to herself. She was so sweet in the studio! We were so happy to get be able to get so many amazing images. She even added on a milkbath session to her shoot, which she totally rocked! I’m sure we’ll see Ms. S in studio again soon.

We love helping brides give their grooms the ultimate grooms gift. What can be better than giving him something you already know he wants? This green eyed beauty came into the studio looking for exactly that. She absolutely rocked her session, even though she said the very idea of this session was outside of her comfort zone. We were there to guide her every step of the way- from how to hold her mouth in the right shape to where to point her toes. You do not need to consider yourself sexy to be able to do a boudoir session! You'll totally feel that way after we reveal your images to you though. We will help you find your best lighting, angles and poses. Even the most nervous of clients tell us that our shoots feel like they're just hanging out with a bunch of girlfriends. We promise to make it fun! 

This year we set the goal of doing at least one traveling shoot. I'm very pleased to say that we had a blast in Durham, NC recently. Although we don't often stray from our studio, it was refreshing to shoot in a completely new space. We meet some lovely local ladies who came in for shoots and got to experience a whole new city. We had the wonderful Miss M. in the studio this past weekend. She totally rocked her session! We loved her dramatic hair and makeup that Becci created for her. It totally helped her feel like a goddess, and when you feel good it translates into your photos. We introduced our milk bath sessions as our first creative mini shoot. Milk bath shoots are super popular with many of our client's thanks to the boho, ethereal look it can give. Maternity and beauty shoot both look amazing in our milk bath set! In addition to being able to book the milk bath set in our creative mini sessions, you can also add the milk bath session on to any solo session! 

Our beautiful client featured in this blog post opted to include it, and we think her photos came out absolutely marvelously! We also wanted to thank her for allowing us to share some of her favorites. 

It's been awhile since we've done a behind the scenes video, so we thought we'd share one of our recent shoots! Billie had an amazing marathon session with us this October. Her photos turned out stunning, and we're so proud of this set! We especially loved being able to share her session because she's wearing exclusively pieces from the Roar Boudoir wardrobe. We're always expanding the offerings we can let clients borrow for the shoot! 

We love it when our clients let us share their sessions, at whatever level they're comfortable with. This beautiful redhead agreed to share some images from her session were we kept her face obscured. We had an absolute blast at the studio with her! 

Our curvy and plus size clients always worry about getting a photoshoot done. We often have people who say they need to lose weight before they could even consider the Roar Boudoir experience. Ladies don't wait! Roar Boudoir is all about loving your current body. We love it when curvy ladies come in for a shoot. We have so much experience photographing all body types, we'll make sure to highlight the most beautiful parts of your body, no matter your size. 

Miss S had similar concerns, but totally blew it out of the water at her shoot! Here's what she said after her shoot:

Miss R. came to us to give her future husband the ultimate groom's gift for her recent wedding. We had a blast creating some seriously sexy looks to put into the album she gave her betrothed the day of their wedding. We love going a bit dark and moody when a client allows- Miss R. was a total blonde bombshell at her photoshoot. She loved her photos, and agreed to allow us to share some here on the blog. Thank you for letting us show everyone else how amazing you look! 

You might also notice that the website and logo have changed a bit! We're always striving to be a better, more creative, more exciting company here at Roar Boudoir. Now that we've been in the boudoir business for three, nearly four years, we were ready for a bit of an update. Whatever our look we're still delivering some of the most beautiful boudoir photography in the Cincinnati area, from our studio is still located in our beloved neighborhood of Pleasant Ridge. We’ve had some absolutely amazing clients in the studio recently. One of them being the beautiful Miss J. She stunned us in a red velvet bodysuit from the Roar Boudoir wardrobe. She was giving us total Melisandre vibes from Game Of Thrones, which we all collectively nerded out about together. We’re glad that we had your perfect lingerie in studio, that gave you options you wouldn’t have considered normally.  Miss J. loved her images so much that she changed her mind on releasing the photos online once she saw how gorgeous they turned out. I hope you can look at these photos and remember what a strong, beautiful, and sexy creature you can be. We love that you’re letting us share how fabulous you look.
